The pictures

Is this too much? I'm not really good at picture placement. I just threw these up to the wall to see if any of them stuck . . .

Well, I've always thought the whole capper crush thing was a bit much, but who am I to argue? I would suggest that having some text before the images might help the flow of the page, especially for cappers who don't spend much time at glitter's or the e-groups and therefore have no idea why such an allegedly iconoclastic group would be doing all this celebrity worship.

Also, have you considered the gallery feature or the thumbnail feature?

I was going for an artsy fartsy collage-type thing with it. While the gallery or thumbnail features will definitely come into play somewhere on this Wiki more than once, I didn't want to apply it here. Perhaps it's time I loaded up Photoshop or PaintShop Pro and stitch together mine own? Also, I like Glitter's idea of smaller pictures. Anyway . . . I thought it was a bit much. Thanks for the critiques, guys. I'll make something up in place of this.

Another thought, too. I'm not sure how much space this site has for images. Invariably, if we show some of the celebs Cappers like, others are going to post up ones they enjoy (for those in the know, just check out the C.C. listings on the CPB, and you'll see some list tons. Perhaps it might be best to defer on the side of caution, just list what the term is, that it started on CT and was eventually named on the CPB, and leave it at that. I think it's one thing to post a screengrab to give an example of a caption that someone might not have seen...but it's within everyone's ability to Google "Johnny Depp" and see what he looks like.

Good points, O Glittery One! As far as space is concerned, I'm not really worried about it all that much. If I have to pay more, then so be it. The next step up is only 5 bucks more a month.

Maybe my idea of a collage thing will annoy those who have a crush and don't see them in it. I guess I was trying to go with the happy medium idea of fact and fancy I spoke of on the other forum. But if the consensus is that it's not the best idea, then I will defer.

I'm working on a collage of the images . . . actually, that's not true. I'm going to be working on a collage as soon as I finish fixing my main computer. I'll upload it in a day or so and you all can take pot shots at it then . . . ;) Arch 16:10, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

OK . . . so using image software is not my forte. I'm just going to go with the gallery for now. Besides, there are those who are more into the crush thing than I who might do a better job of making an artsy-fartsy collage thingie. Arch 17:56, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
