Sci-Fi Me

Origin

Based on a contemporary SCI FI Channel ad campaign, the "Scifi me" caption was popular in the Caption This! days. The short station-ID/advertisements (or "bumpers") on which the caption was based featured actors requesting futuristic technologies with the tagline "Scifi me!" These constituted the cable network's primary ad campaign prior to the better produced "I am Sci-Fi" segments, the stillborn "Scifi Happens" segments, and the current, muddling "scIFi" campaign.

Current usage somewhat rare.
