- Handle Origin: Way back in the days of The Dominion (the old SFC stomping grounds), I felt I needed to have something MST-related, yet inventive. Having been a Joelgirl (yes, I'm female--close your mouth, you're letting in the flies) for a long time, I wanted something from Gizmonic. I felt Giz and Gizmo were too obvious, so I split it down the middle. That's it. Honest. I had no idea of the other connotations for years. As for the capital M, I think I just wanted to be different. If I recall correctly, I would've put it as Giz M, but they would've made me do underscores and I didn't want to fiddle with that. Hence, GizM.
