In the old days of Caption This!, the screengrabber would occasionally give unusual screengrabs, with an image like a scrambled cable channel. This would often solicit a caption about GlitterRock using his Glitterocitor, inspired by the Interocitor from the movie This Island Earth, featured in Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie. The use of the Glitterocitor was to send people to another dimension.
