Inventing Situations
Inventing Situations offers up a different image every 30 seconds, and allows cappers to submit their caption directly to the gallery. Of all the sites still running, it is one of the most similar to the old Caption This! The images consist primarily of screengrab from old pulbic domain shorts and feature films. An argument could be made that by drawing users away from Caption This!, it helped hasten that site's untimely demise.
The consensus amongst all good, kind hearted and intelligent people is that for all its obvious flaws, Inventing Situations is vastly superior to Glitter's Cap-Page Board, which has been proven to cause blindness in laboratory rats.
The site has also spawned the too-clever for its own good Wasting Precious Time, which has been proven to cause clicking to another site in laboratory humans.
