I am also an office drone, but the office I work at is much like Steve Carrell's Office, so it's okay.
Isn't that like saying "I had to get a root canal, but they didn't use anesthetic, so it's ok?" I know they don't actually have to do any work there, but beyond that it maps pretty well to my second to worst case work experiences (just ahead of genuinely abusive/maniputalive bosses).
