Origin

Back in the ol' Caption This days there was a capper named DeadlyRinger. Except he wasn't a capper, all he would post were desperate pleas for tapes of Wonder Woman and/or Bionic Woman episodes, for which he would exchange "Big $$$". DeadlyRinger was eventually ridiculed mercilessly, including one clever capper re-joining the sci-fi page under the handle "DeadlyRinger's Mother". Ah, persecution of others. Good times.
