Shatner is one of those actors that cappers both love and loathe at the same time. Several running gags have spawned from this love/hate relationship cappers have including Shatner's smarm, Shatner's toupee, Shatner's girdle, Shatner's obsession with green skinned women, Shatner expressions (each assigned a number and brief description), the Shatner School Of Smarm (or was it a school of acting?) and more.
Such as that "Big... Really Big" commercial shill thing, plus his infamous novelty rendition of 'Mr. Tambourine Man' and its erratic enunciation, in this style:
