Origin
Started on Glitter's Cap-Page Board by alexgariepy. It was started while "Star Trek: Enterprise" was in its run. The top brass, none too happy with the show's ratings, began a new storyline involving the Xindi, and quoted on going on a "bold new direction." This was mocked in a series of captions on an Enterprise episode that was capped on the Cap-Page Board. The caption involved capitalizing (and emphasizing) said new direction.
