I started an entry for the Cappers YahooGroup, and I'm having trouble describing what the Group is really like, what it's all about, in a way that someone who knows nothing about it could still understand. So I have an idea. I put a section on the page called "What does the Cappers Group mean to you" and I figure we can all write a little something answering that question.
Now I guess whether this is a good idea or a bad idea boils down to what we want the tone of this whole thing to be. Should we be going for the whole encylopedia feel, with the entries more objective and official sounding? Or do we want it to feel more personal? What do you all think?

Firstly, I think that's a great idea. That's what's so great about the Wiki concept. True collaboration.
Now as far as the tone is concerned, I think if we had a happy medium of factual information along with some . . . I don't know . . . feel? . . . to it . . . would be ideal. But that's just my opinion. The way I'm seeing this whole project is from the perspective of a capper. I don't really give a shit about non-cappers reading this site. It's not for them. As long as a capper can understand what is being said, yadda-yadda . . . does that make sense?

That makes sense, and I agree a happy medium is the way to go. I just wanted to get everyone else's opinion.
