Way more obscure than "...and Jerry Mathers as the Beaver," this gag is taken from the opening of Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In, a satirical (and often frickin' hilarious) variety show which ran from 1968-1973, featured many very famous people, and gave Goldie Hawn her big break.
Anyway, TV Announcer Extraordinaire Gary Owens always ended the opening intro with this cryptic pronouncement. Beedo is the progenitor of this running gag, used whenever opening credits are featured in a screengrab. And ever since first using it in 1996, is still the only capper to use it. Or even understand it.
