Taken from a Monty Python sketch, "How to Recognise Treese from a Very Long Way Away." And the slide showing a larch tree kept getting loaded.
As a result, whenever a screengrab showed a lone tree, it was almost invariably captioned "And now, number three: The Larch . . . The Larch." And variations thereof.
